thats exactly what im trying to say, our line is fine and im not saying that since we dont have any 320lb guys that we'r gonna lose every game this year, leverage quite possibly is the most important in the trenches, but more size wouldnt hurt

im not sure but isnt iowa's 2 starting DT only 256 lbs? I think his name is Matt Kroul or something? wouldnt that be a definant disadvantage up front, I mean bobby carpenter is 255
dude, you keep contradicting yourself. i think everyone here has said this already, but if our line is fine as well as our defense, it doesnt really matter if we bring in a stud DT. not only do the rankings not really mean anything(look at josh chichester, not even a 4 star recruit according to rivals yet still one of the best in the country at his position) the staff and everyone knows what they are doing.
