Miami's first 22 can play with about any team in the country. It's the second 22 where Ohio State (and others) have the advantage.

OSU is preparing for Texas. In Woody's day, they prepared for Michigan because that was the only team that was good enough to beat them (generalizing, of course). If Ohio State was prepared to beat Michigan, so went the reasoning, they could easlily handle Minnesota etc..
Today, any team might beat you any given Saturday. If you spend too much time preparing for a team you're not going to play that week, I think you're asking for trouble. Right now, though, it's not "miami week" so I suspect they may be tossing in some things they'd expect Texas to do - but I'd also suspect at this point it's mostly fundementals and learning the playbook more than it's what are THEY gonna do.
