The Cincinnati Enquirer's website is reporting that University of Cincinnati basketball coach Bob Huggins will be fired or forced to resign within the next 24 hours.
The Enquirer is citing a source who claims that Huggins has been asked to resign, effective immediately, and accept a $3 million buyout of the remaining two years of his contract. If he rejects the deal, Huggins reportedly would be terminated without cause, and his compensation would be reduced to $2 million.
