These are just a tiny FEW noteable football players from the GCL that did NOT go to Catholic universities.
Ben Marin is a flat out stud...he's going to play on Sundays in six or so years...he's a MUST get for the Buckeyes, IMO....
and, no, LaSalle is not dismal...just their coaching staff...ask Tyler Sheehan about that...

OK, I understand there are players from Cincy Catholic schools that went to
OSU and other non Catholic schools. Yet I went to St. X. Everyone of the staff there pushes Jesuit Universities bigtime. Other Catholic Universities next. I went to Ohio St. for a good education for the money, but I definately thought about Georgetown because of my teachers and advisors. It happens. I know plenty of guys that went to Jesuit Universities simply due to the fact that they were Jesuit. I also know plenty of guys that went to Catholic Universities because of their faith. The schools really push it, and it cannot be discounted. It just makes me think because I know the situation. May not be true in this case, and people make up their own mind. Yet it is still a factor.
