Playing Against One of the Best Defenses in the Nation
Tight End Will Crall, a walk-on from Bexley Ohio, talks about a range of topics including why he picked Ohio State out of high school and how the players reacted to the Texas loss.

Which colleges recruited you out of High School and did you visit schools before deciding?
'The schools that recruited me out of high school were all of the Mid American Conference schools as well as Notre Dame, Northwestern, Indiana, Maryland, Cincinnati, and Illinois. '
What led you to decided to attend Ohio State?
'The reason that I chose Ohio State is because of the rich football tradition, and extremely strong academics.'
Has it always been a dream of yours to play at Ohio State?
'Growing up in Columbus it has always been a dream of mine to play for the Buckeyes.'
What has been your experience this year and what is your outlook for the team?
'My experience thus far has been a positive one. I'm just trying to learn from the older guys and make myself a better player each day.'
How was the team in the locker room and at practice this week after the Texas loss?
'There's no doubt that everyone was disappointed about Texas but no one is dwelling on it. Everyone has moved on and realized that we have a whole season in front of us.'
Have the coaches provided insight into your role with the team this year?
'Currently my role is to play scout team tight end. The coaches plan to red-shirt me and, I look at it as an opportunity to get better playing against one of the best defenses in the nation everyday.'
