I think we need to just mix it up a lot on offense and avoid costly turnovers. Against MSU, Krenzel came out throwing in the second half, hit Jenkins and Hall for about 20 yards apiece, and suddenly it's a hell of a lot easier for Lydell to find holes. No coincidence.
I think Coach Tressel will have the O running a lot early to see if Lydell and the OL can find any success against what will probably be an 8 man front. Once the D commits to stopping the run, I think they'll try to hit Holmes deep once or twice. Maybe try to get Purdue cheating up and bite on a play action.
I expect Orton to get around 250-300 yards, as most QB's do against
OSU. I'm not convinced that they'll be able to run on us at all. They probably will pick apart Dantonio's soft zone until the DL pressures Orton into fumbling or forcing a bad pass resulting in an INT.
