westend, watch the UM game this weekend. That defense will perform very differently. They will still be solid, no doubt, but being on the road (vs. NW) and being at home (vs.
OSU) makes a huge difference. We definitely should have scored at least 10 more points vs. PSU, but the Northwestern statistics are greatly skewed by 5 turnovers and NW being comfortable at home. Our drastically different performances on the road should make that point clear.

technically, it wasn't his blindside since he was facing the defender, but I know what you mean. And he's not the first QB to be hit unsuspectingly from that side either. No defender should ever sprint straight around a blocker like that, that probably played a role as well. A second later he may have been more conscious of the rush.
