how odd is it that abc is not showing the utah-sdsu game only a couple hours or so from san diego? instead, abc chooses to show a game played in a city that is, according to google, 38 hours of drive time away. furthermore, one could live 100 miles away from the university of utah (salt lake city) and be forced to watch instead a game between kansas state and texas tech. i know that coverages are determined largely if not wholly by viewership demographics, but this boggles the mind. i'd be highly surprised if there are more viewers in south idaho, which is under two hours from utah's campus, that are interested in texas tech and kansas state than viewers interested in a game played between utah and san diego state. i know it's just utah and sdsu -- neither school interests me one iota -- but that is ridiculous.
