Two great points. He's supposed to be running the West Coast offense, and for that, an adequate completion % is 60...the better QBs that run it are around 65% or better.

And I made the same point about Dilfer here at work on Tuesday.

I'm not a Vick hater, though I do think he's the most overhyped player in any sport, possibly in history (an example was Monday night, where they basically completely brushed off his terrible passing stats and said "You throw stats out the window with this guy" and it seems he's the only player that ever gets that benfit of the doubt...and he gets it all the time). Vick can do some things that no other QB can do...unfortunately for him, he can't complete many passes, and being one dimensional always catches up with you eventually (just look at what all of us are saying about the Minnesota Gophers right now). And he's fast, but not fast enough to beat an 11 man NFL defense by himself.

As for the record, I'd say the defense and Warrick Dunn have quite a bit to do with that, too. Look at the Monday night game, with all of Interceptaverde's turnovers...did it really look like Vick won that game for the Falcons? It didn't to me...
