WHAT TO WATCH: Fairfield, in its first playoff appearance since 2000, gets to play the state's No. 1-ranked team. Fairfield QB Derek Ball (1,680 yards passing, 17 TDs) leads a balanced attack, with RB Antoine Moore (1,463 yards rushing, 13 TDs) the top rusher. St. Xavier allows only 5.2 points a game, with LB Louis Miller and DE Alex Albright having combined for 10.5 sacks. RB Darius Ashley (997 yards rushing, 18 TDs) leads the offense, which scores 29.5 points a game.
BOTTOM LINE: St. Xavier has allowed only one opponent to score more than 10 points. The Bombers are a big favorite at home.
