Originally from Sidney, Ohio, I'm a 1998 grad of
OSU w/ a BS in Chemical Engineering. I've been a Buckeye fan as long as I can remember...back when Art Schlichter was a hero not a felon. Mom is an alum and Dad went there for a couple years.
I lived in Ohio all my life until the fall of 2000 when I took a process engineering job out west working on making the Pentium chips I hope you are all using. Since then I've bounced around between Phoenix, Santa Clara, and Portland (where I'm at right now). I'm stuck here until next summer when I get to go back home to Phoenix.
I couldn't believe it when the Bucks made the title game in 2002...and me living in Phoenix...how could I not go? Of all the years for them to make it that was just an amazing thing. It was great to see all the Buckeye faithful come to town and show the Phoenicians what real college football is all about. So many remarked to me that they had never seen anything like that for previous Fiesta Bowls.
I hope to make it home some day...but that is a few years off at least.
