Seriously, I wasn't and am not a Vick hater, but I have been critical in the past, so I'll say it, he played a great game this week. We'll see if he has more performances like this one or the Jets game down the stretch.
By the way, I won't speak for anyone else, but personally I say that being overhyped and being a bad player are not the same thing...in fact they are totally separate. I think Vick is overyped, but that doesn't mean one has to hate him or think he's terrible. He needs to work on his passing, and he did very well with it this week...credit to him. |
I agree with you that overhyped and being a bad player are two different things, but I disagree that he is overhyped. He is overhyped b/c it is very hard to stop a mobile qb b/c even when you cover everything he can escape and make a big play.
As we seen on saturday he is capable of throwing the ball very well, so with a couple more years of experience we could see a deadly weapon.
