This was a great rugby match. Not the best from a spectator's standpoint, but a match that was true to the game and worthy of a regional final. I was proud of our guys for hanging in there and slugging against a large and physical Purdue side. The score was close until Purdue finally started to get tired with less than ten minutes to go and our backs released for a couple of tries. The Buckeyes definitely earned the Midwest title. The new Travelcrop ARN poll should be out sometime today, although I expect us to stay at #4. Although it is extremely early to start looking ahead, my best guess is that we will be facing Dartmouth in the 1st round of the national tournament in the Spring. From there we will most likely have to play the winner of the Pacific #4 seed (which last year was BYU) and Penn State for a chance to head out West for the Final 4. That is how I see things shaping up...
