vyborny's second mri came back negative. it is a mild mcl injury. listed as day to day now. the next game isnt till thursday so he may be able to go then. time will tell

The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned seven players to the Syracuse Crunch, club President and General Manager Doug MacLean announced today. Forwards Dan Fritsche, Steven Goertzen, Nikolai Zherdev, Geoff Platt and Joe Motzko, along with defenseman Ole-Kristian Tollefsen and goaltender Pascal Leclaire will be joining the club's American Hockey League affiliate, which plays at Hershey on Saturday and Philadelphia on Sunday.
