I've got about a 20,000 word response ready to post here, but I'll wait till after the Bowl game, will have some "down" time then.

For RLC65, I finally got to meet John Mummey a few weeks ago, and I must tell you I was awestruck. John and my mom graduated Harvey High School together in 1959 and when I told him here name, I gave him her married name. Of course he and his wife had no recollection of her. I felt like a total ass after realizing this. John was extremely cordial and we small-talked for about 5 minutes.

For those of you who don't know, John was a member of the Buckeyes "three-headed-quarterback" system of the early 1960's, and one of the major losers in the Faculty Councils decision NOT to go to the Rose Bowl after the 1961 season. A Rose Bowl win may have put that team as one of the 5 best ever here.
