You may not be far off. Remember the Washington Redskins OL nicknamed "The Hogs" in the early 1980s? They earned that name because all but one was over 300 pounds they were clearly the biggest OL in pro football. Now 20 years later it's not uncommon for a college team to have a OL that averages over 300 pounds each. If a QB today isn't 6'2" or taller, he's considered short, and many of the top HS prospects are 6'4" or taller. In 20 years, any QB under 6'6" could be considered short.
