Junior forward Antonio Barron scored with 30 seconds left in overtime to help Hughes defeat host Moeller 57-55 Tuesday night.
Moeller is ranked No. 3 in the Enquirer Division I area coaches' poll; Hughes is fifth.
Hughes senior guard Adrion Graves, who had 13 points, made a game-tying 3-pointer in regulation.
Junior guard Lonnie Hayes finished with a team-high 25 points and seven rebounds for the Big Red.
Moeller was led by sophomore guard Quinn McDowell, who had 14 points and five rebounds.
