I believe that JT tells each of the recruits to consider the most important decision of his young life.
The recruit in question was not a "Plan B" kid.
Carroll might be a great salesman, but it ain't exactly difficult to "sell" Southern Cal.
Carr is known as a very negative recruiter, but he also commands a lot of respect and can close players.
Coaches who "sell" get kids who are easily "sold", coaches who go "negative" get kids who are into "negativity"....
