Some kids finish growing height-wise early, by the time they're 17 or 18. So, he may just "all grown up" in height. By the way, the Bengals had David Fulcher, a strong safety who was 235-240 and made the Pro Bowl three times and was Defensive Back of the Year for the NFL in 1989. If a safety that big could shine back then (his career ran from '86 to '93), a kid that size can definitely star at the college level over a decade later (compare the sizes of college kids and pros back when he played with college kids today).
