JoeBear could go either way
I saw Orton play last year in a locally televised game against Centerville. He was, in a word, AWESOME! He had had a pretty good game through 3+ quarters. When C'ville scored with less than 2 minutes remaining, it looked like Wayne might be done. Especially since their starting QB was out and they had turned to a soph. Wayne got the ball around their 15 yard line and went to work. IIRC Orton had 4 or 5 catches on that drive (Marcus Freeman also had one out of the backfield) including a game winning TD with about 15 seconds to go. He appeared fearless over the middle, showed great hands and used his body well to shield the ball from the defender. IMO, if we are not looking at him, we might be missing one. Besides, Wayne has been pretty good to us so far (Will Allen, John Hollins, Freeman). Let's keep the pipeline going.

Another player in that game that was impressive was FB Tommy Tamaska from C'ville. He is smallish (5'11"), but strong and has good hands (remind anyone of Matt Keller?). I have seen C'ville play at least once every year for as long as I can remember. I am a Kettering Fairmont grad and always go to this version of a rivalry game. Over the years it has seemed like the OSU\scUM rivalry when we had Cooper. Obviously, the best player in recent years in the game has been A.J. Hawk. Well, Tamaska reminds me of a smaller version of Hawk. He brings it. In the Fairmont game last year, he broke the Firebirds' backs with about a 90 yard run with a botched punt. The Elks were up 14-0 in the first after forcing 2 turnovers and a punt. Fairmont's D finally stopped them on the third possession and forced a punt. Like AJ, Tamaska is Centerville's punter. The snap went over his head and it looked like Faimont would get the ball in great shape to make a game of it. Tamaska picked it up, reversed field and was gone (albeit with help from a missed holding call, but I don't want to sound like sour grapes). The defense came off the field and you could tell it was "Game Over". Unfortunately, I cannot find any recruiting info about him anywhere. He is a senior this year.
