Now either the sources of the "switching" info are way off or Mathews has misrepresented his status. Certainly he does not want to "burn his bridges", but his for attribution comments are much stronger than is necessary to do that IMO. |
Navybuck, I was just discussing this in the office today with another Buckeye fan. We talk recruiting all the time. Even if he was considering
OSU so heavily, why be so
Adamant that you are firm with your Michigan commitment. You don't have to play it up so much (assuming he is indeed even serioulsy considering OSU). I wouldn't want one of our recruits doing that to us if they were seriously considering switching to another school. I like how Bowman is handling this much better. He is being honest about it and says he is 50/50 between Iowa and OSU and seems to be honest with the coaches. Just my two cents.
