OSU has received commitments from Johnson (LB), Miller (TE), Gant (S/LB), and is looking as strong as ever with Grant (LB) since he cleared admissions. Many things have obviously changed since then.
If our insiders are saying there's a legit shot with Mathews, I'll take that as being the case at this moment. These guys can be fooled, but they are pretty good at what they do. And even though that's probably the case now, things can and probably will change one way or another between now and then. Just look up, or look back to the recruitment of Dwayne Jarrett for proof.
All that said, I really want Matthews as a Buckeye. Getting him away from scUM would be a double-win for the staff. It's a good thing he wouldn't count as two scholarships.
