If Nick plays his way into the first round than that would make a longshot for 5. Hawk and Holmes are already presumed to be slam dunks, while Carpenter and Youboty are both projected for late first round as well. Simms, Kudla, Whitner, and Schlegel could all be 1st day picks, which makes (in a perfect scenario) 5 1st round picks and 9 on the first day.
I doubt it's a coincidence that Mangold traded blows after a rough shot from Ingram after two full days of schooling Ingram's teammate Dvoracek. All reports from the Senior Bowl I've read stated that Mangold was a stud on Monday and Tuesday -- making Dvoracek look silly. The Wednesday report finally mentions Dvoracek beating Mangold
once on a pass rush and Ingram taking a shot at Nick's head.
Sounds like sour grapes from some overrated Oklahoma players to me.
