Warren Central survives in 3 OTs

Warren Central's Josh Jones hit a layup with 2.6 seconds remaining in the third overtime and host Center Grove's desperation attempt in the closing seconds fell short, giving the Warriors an 82-80 Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference win on Friday night.




Center Grove's Todd Price hit a 3-pointer with two seconds remaining in regulation to force the first ovetime. Both teams missed shots in the final minute of the second overtime.

David Smith topped the Warriors (12-4, 3-3) with 22 points. Kendall Harvey added 19 points, Marcus Thomas 17 and Walter Offutt 14. Todd Price had 30 points and Tyler Kitchel 26 for Center Grove (9-6, 2-3).
