Remember a couple of things:

1. Talent evaluation is not a perfect science. After all, doesn't Nick Goings have more yards rushing in the NFL than he did at OSU? Just because a guy isn't #1 on another school's depth chart doesn't mean he's necessarily worse than the others.

2. LSU (& most of the rest of the SEC) plays a very different style of football than Ohio State. This guy may or may not be a better fit for Ohio State.

If Edwards would be a good fit here, we really could use some depth at RB. We could also use a good special teams player, quite frankly--kick coverage was an unpleasant adventure at times last year. However, if he really does have major off-the-field problems and/or attitude issues...we should probably pass.

I'll count on the coaching staff to make that call...but don't dismiss a talented athlete too quickly.
