I completely agree. The man was a monster. His name got caught up, IMO, with the jumbling transition of defense personel in 2003-2004. Not to mention, Bobby Carpenter and AJ Hawk garnished (well-deserved) attention on defense since their first starting seasons in 2003. Green had kind of the Mike Kudle effect - a bad ass player that just got overshadowed.
