Well, my story is a bit different...

Coming from Cleveland Heights, my father was a big OSU fan. He was one, however, who would always turn off the TV when OSU would start to go bad. most of the time, it worked... he turned off the TV, they lost. However, back in the '97 Rose Bowl, I went up to his bedroom, turned on the second TV, and managed to get him to watch Germaine's miracle drive. It's also where I first saw the marching band perform.

My love of tOSU goes deep, as I will be recieving my second (MS) degree here this spring. I ahve a passion for nearly all OSU sports- football, men's basketball, hockey, women's volleyball, etc... as long as there's a band performance. I'm a 5-year member of the basketball band, as well as a former member of TBDBITL.

To tell the truth about the family, the finest gift that I ever gave my father was a ticket to the 2004 Michigan game where Troy came out and stomped on those effers from up North. Sure, it was in D-Deck. Sure, he never attended OSU, even though he was always a giant fan in my life. However, that was one of the first OSU games he had made it down to (maybe his 2nd or 3rd), so it was a treat.

My finest memory of my collegiate career, however, will be this past fall... where the OSUMB rushed the field after the end of the Michigan game in Ann Arbor, and played Carmen to the players no less then five feet away. Years and years of childhood agony were absolved in one run on the field in that giant toilet bowl.

If you're ever at a basketball game, I'm probably there. I'm the loud trumpet player playing the solos. I also get a free trip to the men's tournament this year... both Big Ten and NCAA. That will be a blast.

Now that I'm done reminiscing, time to get onto reading more random things...
