Edmonds is St. Ed's MVP. Not Oliver, not Hubbard, not Morrow. If Edmonds didn't get hurt against Glenville, I think St. Edward wins the state title. I generally don't "hype" St. Ed's kids, but Edmonds is one of the most gifted runners I've ever seen. Kid can change directions on a dime and then explode to full speed. As Jruffing mentioned, he's built like a tank. I think he'll play college ball at around 200. I keep hearing that his size is a knock, but I'd rather have a RB who is 5'7, 200 than a RB who is 6'0, 205.
He was a workhorse last year, but nagging injuries caught up with him. Turf toe, bruised ribs, and finally a deep bone bruise to his knee against Glenville. But look for him to be a dominant, dominant player this year. Last year he ran for at least 200 yards against all the best teams on the schedule, except for Ignatius (130 or so).
