'07 OH S Josh Copeland (Buffalo signee)

Josh plays both ways at Fairborn and looks like a solid safety prospect.

While Fairborn has not been a hotbed of HS talent, they did send an OL to IU this year.

Copeland looks to be about 6'1 190 pounds. Not sure if OSU is looking at him, but the kid is an amazing athlete.

He played QB and WR on offense, LB on D, returned kicks and was in on coverage. I saw him play against Springboro last year and I don't know if he was off the field for a single snap that game. He is quick, strong, and has a good nose for the ball. Nice kid, good grades, impressive family.

He is also a decent BBall player, but football is def. his game. I suspect he will get a look from OSU and will likely collect a few significant DI offers.

As a junior he had 59 solo tackles,87 total including 5 TFL.2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

He had 127 carries for 4 TDs and just over 400 yards. He caught 17 passes for 242 yards (14.2 per) and one TD.

He also went 21 for 48 at QB for 2 Tds, 3 ints and 337 yards.

2 KOR for 46 yards and 2 PR for 14 yards.

Led the team in scoring with 6 TDs and one 2 point conversion.

Also starts for the Bball team that is the top seed in their district and shared their conference title.
