As my moniker implies, I'm originally from Newark, Ohio, just east of Columbus. I graduated from Newark High in 1981, back in the days of the old COL. There was never any question where I would go to college....not after having Jim Stillwagon sign my program when I was 5 years old....not after Archie spoke to my 8th grade class...not after Dr. Gerry Ersham recounted Woody stories when I was on a high school sailing trip on Lake Erie. I was and always will be a Buckeye. I spent 4 years in the W. 10th Ave "Castle", a legend in it's own right, and then did medical school at
OSU, graduating in 1989. I am a physician in Cincinnati, with 2 young children, both of whom claim their favorite clothes are scarlet and gray. My favorite time of the year is any Buckeye home game.
My Buckeye heroes are Woody, J. Stillwagon, Archie, C. Spielman, Eddie George, and Michael Jenkins...all exuding Buckeye pride and class.
Love the site, C and M....always 2 of my favorite early Bucknuts posters.
Go Bucks!
