I think in the 2007 class you guys are talking about 4's and 5's with Othello Hunter being a JUCO and Greg Oden inevitably a very early entrant to the NBA draft.

While I agree that depth could be a factor, you have to figure that Cook is going to be a two year at most player IMO and that would just leave Lighty, and Diebler coming in the 07' class. Matta is an incredible recruiter and when he watches Illinois struggle this next year and us being ranked in the top 5 and hopefully making a run in the tourney, and with Oden saying he is staying two year, and a chance to play with him and win a nc, might just put us over the top. Like I said I have no concrete evidence, I just have a gut feeling.
