I'm so sick of people throwing out the 4.6 40 thing and implying that he's slow or "he'll make a good possession reciever who runs good routes." That's ridiculous. The dude is FAST. He placed 4th in Division 1 in the 400M with a 48.6. Let me repeat that. He placed 4th in the whole state in a sprinting event. Speed is not a concern with him.
The exciting thing is that he's clearly not just a track star - he has football skills. Every report I've read said that he stepped it up when his team needed him most in the playoffs. Love that. Perhaps the most exciting thing is that
OSU offered him just hours after most of the coaching staff had a chance to look at him up close and personal. They made him run around, line up against his peers, and got so excited about his ability that they offered him a scholarship when they first could within NCAA regulations.
I for one am pumped about this kid.
