They are rebuilding East. They are tearing down the school and moving the students to where the old North High School used to be(On Arcadia) for two years while they rebuild. Alot of the people in the Clintonville area are how shall I say it, basically scared of the kids that are coming from the eastside.

I've heard from a teacher at my school this year that they are keeping the classic design of the big concrete steps infront of the school, but are tearing down the rest. I guess it is planned to be a $30 million, 3 story building with a octogon shape, also its all glass.

I didn't know of the b-ball games in the auditorium until this year. I saw a article in the Dispatch about it. It was real interesting.

Talked about how the stage wasn't big enough for a regulation size high school court, and was actually narrower and shorter than a regular court. Players would be shoting at the 3-point line and the out-line was like 2 feet away. Also players running for a loose ball would sometimes run off the stage. It was a real home advantage for East.

Some people were sad to see it go. It said that the auditorium is to be turned into a new band room. I guess they aren't tearing down that part(?). I also guess that means East will get a real gym at the school.
