most folks who move here are just stunned at the breadth and depth of high school football fever here (and are quickly caught up in it). high school football is WAY more important here than college ball -- and the state loves college football passionately.

When I said sports arena, I meant a basketball arena. They showed one that had a huge video scoreboard that could be lowered down to the court. I think that is just absurd.
