Clarity, your vision for this site has always been a wonderful ideal. Since life's realities have created a situation where a minor change is needed to continue its operation, I will not be bothered at all by the changes you described, and will continue to enjoy BP and contribute what I can to it.
I think (and hope) that you'll find that almost all of the people that spend a fair amount of time on the site would support any decsion you make regarding the way it functions.
