i hear ya, man. its tough when your alma mater plays your favorite team from your youth. miami has played
osu twice in my lifetime... once in 2000 (mu should've won that one), and again last year.
i have so many great memories of my time at miami. my best friends were classmates of mine...we made road trips for football games and for the sweet 16 back in 1999...we've been in each other's weddings, etc. all of this happened because of our connection with mu.
with absolutely no offense to
osu, its just not the same.
osu (or any other school) will never be able to do what my alma mater has done for me. of course i know that miami has virtually no chance of ever winning a nat'l title in football, but the aforementioned sentimental reasons lead me to never root against my school.. no matter who they are playing.
