If it occurs on every play then maybe the rule against it should be repealed. I'm not being sarcastic about that either Regardless, I understand letting it go when linemen are grabbing a little jersey a little outside the pads in the trenches, but it seems like blatant tackling of defensive linemen should be called whether or not it "affects the play", and it often seems like it isn't called. I won't even touch Iowa's "holding-free fake FG for a TD" against OSU in 2003 . . .
