As a huge bucks fan in southeastern PA(too many PSU fans for my liking), I was really happy to see tOSU have some interest in Derrick. Having attended a few games last year it was obvious to see how talented of a player he is, I just didn't think that he would be getting looks from the schools that he has been.
I have attended all 3 games so far this year, and plan on making all of the them so i will try to keep everybody updated on his performances. Derrick looks like a man playing aganist boys out on the field, from both a physical and mental standpoint. He has looked very good running the ball(6.6ypc), and almost always takes 2 or 3 guys to bring him down.
On the defensive side of the ball he is anchoring a defense that leads the area giving up only 122 yards per game and 6 points allowed in 3 games(although aganist 2 mediocore teams in Archbishop Carroll, and Germantown Academy, and a usually competitve team from Lancaster McCaskey). He is quick off the edge, but can over power the small tackles if need be. The one thing i have noticed is he has a motor that doesn't stop and will routinely run down RB's or Qb's when the play is run away from him.
He seems to be a special kid and I hope he enjoys the visit this week and becomes a Buck in the near future.

Great information...what a defense - allowing 122 yards per game.
Thanks
