Update on Morgan's game on 9/22

Fell to 3-1 with a 30-21 loss to rival Downingtown East(former school of QB Pat Devlin). East JR. QB Pat O'Connor threw for 300+ yards but Coatesville allowed between 50-60yds on the ground.

As for Morgan's play he carried the ball 15 times for 55yds. and a touchdown. On defense he was in the offensive backfield the entire night. Although the local paper doesn't include defensive stats he had by my account 6 or 7 tackles, no sacks but a bunch of QB rushes and hurries. He was very quick off the snap and used a variety of moves both speed and bullrushes to overpower the small offensive line(according to the program nobody above 260lbs on the Dtown offensive line).

He had 1 or 2 plays that he was in the backfield so quick that he almost took the handoff from the QB to the RB. He played very well but his secondary teammates were exposed by a QB that was very poised in the pocket and very accurate on his throws.
