Buford's dad had confirmed this, time to change the thread title!!

He confirmed that his son, William, committed to the Buckeyes Sunday night over Michigan State, Michigan, Kentucky and a host of others.

"Yes, he committed Sunday night," said Buford Sr.

Big pickup for Thad Matta and Ohio State. Buford is ranked No. 3 in the country at shooting guard and is a top-20 talent.

He joins Walter Offutt and B.J. Mullens in the class of 2008 and will help a lot with Anthony Crater.

Buford had visited the aforementioned three schools and was set to visit Indiana this weekend but called it off.

For those unaware, Buford is a 6-5 guard/wing from Toledo Libbey. He's ranked No. 11 by ScoutHoops.com in the 2008 recruiting class.
