At least you're honest. But it wasn't necessarily rhetorical. I'd like to see what people think about whether Michigan really will look past some of their games, filled with rage for Ohio State, and get upset somewhere along the way.

I was thinking about that, too. I don't know that they'd fall into the trap of looking ahead late, if they lose early. I see them giving some easy teams a pounding early in the season. The media will quickly make them the #1 team in this century, and Michigan will barely beat a team that they should pound. Michigan State, maybe. Or Iowa or Minnesota. A couple more easy wins, and then they'll lose a game that should be easy. Purdue, maybe? (I have no idea what Michigan's schedule is.) Then they'll lose a tougher game. Back-to-back losses, and the players will begin to doubt that they can beat Ohio State, since Ohio State hasn't missed a beat on defense, and their offense has really taken off. But, of course, Michigan will be up for The Game, next year.
That's my guess.
