I was born and raised in NE Ohio, and have been following the Bucks since 1973, so I had to suffer through a lot of near misses (73, 75, 79, 95, 96, 98) before finally experiencing a national championship in 2002.

I never went to Ohio State, but have followed the program since my childhood because it is THE state school, and because the fans of the other "local" programs (Michigan and Notre Dame) were so obnoxious that I couldn't imagine being associated with them.

My favorite Buckeye is Chris Spielman, the definition of a football player.
