Bingo! Remember that when ND was extended an invite to join the Big Ten, the vote to extend an invitation was relatively close due to the fact that ND has a pathetic graduate school and some Big Ten university presidents didn't want that to affect the overall academic strength of the Big Ten.

Missouri has consistently been mentioned as the most logical choice.
