I could never understand the "another school's pressure to decommit" idea. If i were a recruit and I had committed somewhere, I would firmly let other schools know, "Thanks, but no thanks", and "Don't call me, I'll call you". If any school persisted after my committment, then I'd notify the NCAA...then that [censored] would stop real quick.
