Not sure where anyone heard Barksdale chose LSU due to their undergraduate program in Engineering but I truly doubt that was the real reason. There were 3 schools in his home state in the top 50 that he chose to not attend. Two of those in the B10. Further
OSU has a very good Engineering program. No idea why he is going to LSU, but it is not academics.
