When Joey was a freshman and soph. he was rated as one of the top 10 palyers in Ohio by Ohio High

ashland seems to be getting their share of buckeye retreads (hoobler, and sirjo i think) and descent talent overall for a div 2 school.

right out of high school though , i can't understand why a kid wouldn't walk-on to tOSU instead of going to ashland on schollie...unless athletic scholarship was the only way they were going to college.

The potential to earn a schollie exists (happens every year, and some kids end up being major contributors)

The education from tOSU will be superior and more prestigous.

Playing football for tOSU will open doors in business in Ohio , even if you walk-on.

I guess I'm biased
