Although her skills in basketball are well known, Brittany Johnson is also known for her off-court mentoring skills.

For the past two years, Johnson has been a mentor, or ?Big,? for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Richland County.

The East Richland High School senior and Olney Lady Tigers basketball player has been matched with a ?Little? named Chris, a fifth-grader at East Richland Elementary School. Johnson said Dolores McNabb, who is in charge of the Mentoring Minutes program, thought she and Chris would make a good match.
