Results
COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio State women's track and field team opened its 2007 outdoor season Saturday at the Auburn Springtime Invitational in Auburn, Ala. Two Buckeyes set facility records at the Auburn University Track Complex as Melanie Price won the steeplechase and Veronica Vance posted the top mark in the triple jump.
Price clocked a time of 11:26.90 to top the steeple field. She is the OSU record holder in the event as well, timing 10:46.55 in 2005. Vance reached 41 feet, 1 inch for her victory in the triple jump.
