Well considering how Mike has said plenty of times that he wants to return to school, most notebly after the title game, and considering how his father is turning agent and is shown on several articles saying things like "he
has to reconsider his options, I don't think it's that much of a stretch to say that he may be influencing Mike's opinion to another direction.
