I agree, but the last thing I want to see is another Bellisari who seemed to take off every time his primary receiver was covered. When they took the running option away from Smith in the Spring game he really suffered.

If the D takes something away one place they are giving it back to you elsewhere and it isn't always a hole up the middle. The key to an effective QB is being able to quicly find that best option based on the way the play was designed and how the D reacts to it. That can invlove a lot of thinking between the snap and contact with a Defensive End. CK could do that and that is why he played. Scrambling is great, but buying time that way only breaks the play down further and it quickly becomes a contest of athleticism instaed of design. That is not the way JT wants to play football. JMO
